Mareike Blum

Mareike Blum has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Environmental Governance from the University of Freiburg. Starting from July 2016, she will work on her PhD project titled: "The legitimacy of private actors in transnational climate governance - 

Analysing certification actors in global emission markets". For the project, she received a scholarship from the German Federal Environmental Foundation (Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (DBU).

Previous/Ongoing Projects:

• DIABOLO: Distributed, Integrated and Harmonised Forest Information for Bioeconomy Outlooks 
• REDD+ in a post-2020 Framework and its linkages to global forest governance (Einbindung von REDD+ in das neue Klimaabkommen der UNFCCC  und Annäherungspotentiale zur CBD).
• INTEGRAL - Future oriented integrates management of European forest landscapes .
