Sina Leipold

Sina Leipold is Postdoc Researcher and Lecturer at the Chair of Forest and Environmental Policy at Albert-Ludwigs University Freiburg (Germany). Her main research interests lie in the domains of Discourse Analysis, Global Environmental Politics, Forest and Agricultural Policy, Circular Economy, Bioeconomy.
She currently prepares a research group on societal transformation for a sustainable circular economy in the bioeconomy. In her PhD research, she specifically focused on discursive agency in the politics of illegal logging in the US, the EU, and Australia. Prior to her work in Freiburg, Sina researched for two years on the interrelation of sustainability and spirituality, and transnational agri-food discourses at the Division of Organic Farming, University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (Austria) www.nas.boku.ac.at/agts.html.
